今日は生えていて、明日は炉に投げ込まれる野の草
でさえ、神はこのように装ってくださる。まして、
あなたがたにはなおさらのことではないか。
信仰の薄い者たちよ。
だから、あなたがたは、「何を食べようか」
「何を飲もうか」「何を着ようか」と言って、
思い煩ってはならない . . .
あなたがたの天の父は、これらのものがみな、

Look how the wild flowers grow ...
It is God who clothes the wild grass ー
grass that is here today and gone tomorrow,
burned up in the oven.
Won't he be all the more sure to clothe you ?
What little faith you have !
So do not start worring :
Where will my food come from ?
or my drink ? or my clothes ?
Your Father in heaven knows
that you need all these things.
